The Antiparos North Coast Hike

A circular, easy (5km) or challenging (9km) hike around the beautiful northern coast of Antiparos and in Antiparos town, going by secluded beaches and rugged hillsides with magnificent N- NW sea views. May include exploration of islets Kavouras & Diplo, accessible with ‘aqua hiking’. Rocky footpaths, sand… and the sea! Great as a sunset tour!

NE coast & Naxos from Vounala, off Lefkes

The Lefkes- Agrilies- Aghios Nikolaos Langadas- Dryos Hike

A 10km, 4h- long hike, from medieval capital Lefkes to the quiet seaside village of Dryos after traversing the highlands and valleys of central and SE Paros, offering some of the prettiest mountain landscapes on the island and sweeping views. Mixed terrain, incl. the most well-preserved and picturesque stone-paved trail on the island in the valley of Langada. With a great “Taste of Paros” picnic with local food & wine in the shade of old olive trees!

En route to Monastiria bay, Antiparos island

The Aghios Georgios- Profitis Ilias- Monastiria Hike

A 13 km circular hike in wild south-western Antiparos, starting from Aghios Georgios village, going up the hills to the chapel of Profitis Ilias (301 m), down to secluded Monastiria beach on mountain ridge footpaths, and back through the rugged Latomia area. Beautiful landscapes & beaches, amazing mountain & sea views, forgotten shepherds’ trails. Great sunset!

Lupin fields en route to Thapsana, Paros island

The Paros Town- Kakapetra- Thapsana- Marathi Hike

A distinctive inland hike from Parikia mostly on old, forgotten hillside footpaths, passing by unspoilt rural landscapes en route to Thapsana Monastery on the mountains before descending to the valley of Vounia and Marathi. Includes an exploration of the ancient marble quarries’ site and a visit to the 16th c. Aghios Minas monastery – Can be extended to a 6h circular tour.Level: Moderate

The East Coast Walk (Piso Livadi to Pyrgaki)

A relatively mild, coastal walk along lace-like coastline, all the way to Piso Livadhi… or up Kefalos Hill and down to quaint Marpissa! Idyllic sea and countryside views or breathtaking, 360° hilltop vistas of the surrounding islands and Paros inland!

The Lefkes- Pigados- Ancient Quarries Hike

10 km along the valleys & the hills, from medieval capital Lefkes to the ancient marble quarries at Marathi and the monastery of Agios Minas. Inland & sea views on age-old footpaths in the heart of Paros, exploring nature, tradition and history. Can be extended on Byzantine footpath back to Lefkes (circular route, +4km). Duration 4h/5h, some easy caving included.
