A distinctive inland hike from Parikia mostly on old, forgotten hillside footpaths, passing by unspoilt rural landscapes en route to Thapsana Monastery on the mountains before descending to the valley of Vounia and Marathi. Includes an exploration of the ancient marble quarries’ site and a visit to the 16th c. Aghios Minas monastery – Can be extended to a 6h circular tour.Level: Moderate

Duration 4h/5h, some easy caving included.

A 10km, 4h- long hike, from medieval capital Lefkes to the quiet seaside village of Dryos after traversing the highlands and valleys of central and SE Paros, offering some of the prettiest mountain landscapes on the island and sweeping views. Mixed terrain, incl. the most well-preserved and picturesque stone-paved trail on the island in the valley of Langada. With a great “Taste of Paros” picnic with local food & wine in the shade of old olive trees!

An easy to moderate difficulty, circular hike in little-visited, beautiful countryside in the heart of Paros, along dirt tracks, shepherds’ trails and forgotten stone-paved footpaths, with great panoramic views to the bay of Naoussa, the east coast and over the sea from NW to SE to boot! 12 km and 4 h on a variety of terrain and landscape, including some hill climbing.

A 12 km hike, climbing the gentle hills of Aneratza and descending to Alyki beach through idyllic Kamari valley, mostly on gravel roads, country lanes and old footpaths. Great S-SW views to Antiparos, Sifnos and Sikinos.

A 14-16 km sporty hike, starting from Angeria in the south, gently passing by Aneratza valley up to the chapel of Ai Giorgis sta Dhamalia, ascends Mt. Stroumboulas (724 m.) and goes down to quaint Lefkes. Mixed, rough terrain, including rugged footpaths and shepherds trails. Demanding, duration 5.5.-6 h, hiking shoes required.

A relaxed 7 km circular coastal walk for perfect sea views, dips in some of the island’s finest beaches, with an unforgettable ‘Taste of Paros’ picnic and return by bus to Alyki for more options… Great as a morning or sunset hike!
